And of course, as well as the nature in this, it can have a "side allusion" to the great novel "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee published in 1960, and about injustice and how great people rise to stand against it.
That may not have been intended, but fine writing often carries other layers we are not conscious about, but connect with other subjects.
