christmas night what light there is enough
ribbons of moss
amid a few leaves
the old oak
traffic jam
a string of tail lights
across the bridge
seeking peace
a cold day plays me
leaf shadows
silent water
i am just a soul
passing by
two doves
a dead limb shivers
as they settle
one more day
without sand in my toes
coastal flooding
tidal river the highs and lows of the moon
goldenrod
the prairie leans
into dusk
all the spots
filled with seagulls
shopping day
river party
a dragonfly floats
on a beer can
falling leaves
a rabbit flees
my footsteps
in the woods
under an old oak
a cellphone sings
wee hours
someone else’s light
across the river
moonrise
a stray cat becomes
the forest
cooler morning
katydids sleep in
a little later
such high hopes
for an empty cloud
drying pond
sunset
drinking beer
from a goblet
river traffic
a canoe floats past
my kitchen window
one ant
leads to another
summer picnic
worry stone
three skips closer
to sunset
scallions
on the cutting board
fading light
