falling leaves
a rabbit flees
my footsteps
in the woods
under an old oak
a cellphone sings
wee hours
someone else’s light
across the river
moonrise
a stray cat becomes
the forest
cooler morning
katydids sleep in
a little later
such high hopes
for an empty cloud
drying pond
sunset
drinking beer
from a goblet
