evening storm
wind teases my face
with its mist
sunday parking
a few spaces left
in the blackbird tree
quiet river
splashes of sunset
through hanging moss
wind gusts
the sighs of leaves
in between
the shelter
of a squirrel’s tail
nor’easter
a squirrel
on the porch
the cat
tennis finals
raindrops bouncing
off lily pads
a hawk’s call
goes unanswered
september morning
a quiet hawk
in a dead pine
the noisy crow
heat wave
even if i wanted
to bake a pie
