in the lagoon
a frog’s worth of sun
chilly day
three quarter moon
a white cat hides
in stillness
river window
time drifts me down
a misty day
soundscape -
a river of grass
played by wind
afternoon heat
the faraway sea
in a gull’s cry
through the reeds
bits of twilight
float downriver
evening light
an egret gathers
the remains
dragonfly
its small sounds
in passing
in the fog
a mountain echoes
blackbird at dawn
broken heart
a baby smiles
and then . .
another day
the old pine’s shadow
drifts downriver
the
sound
of
things
when
time
turns
to
irises
morning dew
a strand of web
follows me home
faraway sister
the dawns we share
in my mind
we speak of nothings
as the river wakes
little grey bird
needing no words
you sing me
a river’s mood as painted by wind night lights
briefly
the day pauses
first butterfly
jet ski
the river
afterwards
