one
rake
a
galaxy
of
fallen
leaves
autumn
a field of cloud shadows
full of blackbirds
moonlit water
a stone’s throw
too far
sketching a dream
before it’s gone
incoming tide
thanksgiving
a stranger’s baby
bubbles at me
new moon
the colour of
every sound
candlelight
in the window
coming home
pouring sunset
from a beer bottle
the first star
down river
the last light dims
cold autumn night
sunset two fish jumping into the sound
yesterday’s rain
dawn quivers
on my lashes
full of fog
morning flows on
white with sounds
empty hallway
i breathe the thought
of someone’s popcorn
open window
the cool fall air
i lie down with
for a moment
i am the heron
first light
hurricane relief
the ripening of
holly berries
cool blue air
though an open door
autumn evening
