circles in the sand
a puppy chases its tail
into twilight
a life
in the clouds
from riverside
to mountaintop
dew on my lashes
the tiny sounds
a river makes
almost dawn
morning mirror
the rippled bits
of my smile
where night
is darkest
egret moon
everywhere
the moss-shaped wind
storm warnings
moonrise the river flows into being silver
forest trail
my thoughts meander
the fragrances
a
leaf
falls
between
us
purpled
with
twilight
inside new glasses
an unusual curve
to the night sky
wildflowers
the way sunlight teases
our hidden places
after the blackbirds
balance returns
to the cattails
following a hawk
i lose myself
in the sun
frog by frog
the marsh erupts
with dusk
carving deeper
into itself
mountain river
a waterfall
of perfect blossoms
spring rain
just where
creek becomes river
the rain begins
those times
any wildflower will do
cancer clinic
i am only
the song i hum
river fog
no one else
the silence of sunlight
walks by my side
depending
on perspective
pine needles
twilight
i let your rhythms
become mine
after the cranes
the sky refills
with silence
sun salutation
two ducks cross
my balance point
spring sky
i reread poems
of blackbirds
through young leaves
dawn brings me
the river
wordless
i fill in the blanks
with wildflowers
far above
the river goes on
far below
prairie afternoon
the grassy taste
of every breath
outgoing tide
what sand remembers
of night
